About the Journal
Aims & Scope
The Journal of Perspectives in Management (JPM) is domiciled in postgraduate program of Management, Innovation and Consumption (PPGIC) and published by Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE).
JPM aims to disseminate the knowledge produced in the Public and Business Administration, Accounting, and Tourism area.
This journal accepts theoretical, empirical-theoretical papers in the most pluralistic epistemological perspectives that specially integrate the field of research in Administration.

Journal history
The Journal of Perspectives in Management (JPM) started in 2017 from the initiative of permanent professors from the Postgraduate Program in Management, Innovation and Consumption (PPGIC) at UFPE, aiming to contribute to dissemination of scientific production in the Public and Business Administration, Accounting, and Tourism areas.

Peer-reviewed process
The peer-reviewed process is divided into two phases:
- The first phase, known as Desk Review, is conducted by the editorial review to verify the suitability of the paper to the scope of the journal, template, thematic and content relevance, as well as anti-plagiarism verification using platforms such as Plagium, NoPlag and Grammarly.
- The second phase is composed of the double-blind peer review. After the review process, reviewers suggest to the editor: accept without modifications, accept with revisions (major or minor), resubmit or reject.

Periodicity
Continued: In this modality, the papers are published right after the conclusion of the evaluation and editing process, composing, at the end of the year, a unique edition.
