Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
- URLs for referrals were informed when possible.
- The text not exceed 20 pages (Times New Roman, font size 12, single line spacing, and 6 pt spacing after each paragraph).
- I declare that I have read and I accept the Guidelines for Authors, in particular the Copyright Statement.
- It is free from plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- A maximum of five authors are allowed per article. After the article's approval, no author will be allowed to be included.
- The main text must be submitted anonymously, with all author identifiers removed from the text and file properties.
- The figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.
- Authors must submit a single supplementary file (as per the template) containing: author information, conflict of interest statement, funding source statement, AI usage statement, data availability statement, and copyright transfer statement.
- Providing the ORCID profile of all authors is mandatory.
- Each author may publish only one (01) article per year, regardless of how many they have submitted. If they have more approved articles, they will be selected in chronological order of submission.
- During submission, ALL metadata (in the submission system) must be completed in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

- The authors authorize the publication of the article in the journal.
- The opinions and ideas expressed in articles are the sole responsibility of the authors.
- The authors guarantee that the article is not the result of plagiarism. Failure to do so may result in penalties for the situation.
- Editors are allowed to make textual and formatting adjustments to fit the article into the publication standards of the journal.
- This journal, following the recommendations of the Open Access movement, provides its content in Full Open Access. Thus, authors retain all their rights, allowing JPM to publish their articles and make them available to the entire community.
- JPM's contents are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Thus, any user has the right to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
Under the following terms:
- Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
- No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
