Anti-excepcionalismo e a metodologia da lógica

Resumo

Uma tendência recente na filosofia da lógica, sob o título de "anti-excepcionalismo", propõe que os princípios lógicos não são justificados por intuições a priori, mas ao invés, assim como nas outras ciências, por evidências a posteriori ou empíricas. O presente artigo apresenta o anti-excepcionalismo lógico atribuído a Quine, assim como duas propostas mais recentes para o método de revisão de teorias lógicas, a abdução e o equilíbrio reflexivo. Por fim, aborda-se o problema da lógica no pano-de-fundo, o qual põe em xeque a possibilidade de haver um método de revisão anti-excepcional para teorias lógicas, haja vista que qualquer método depende de alguma lógica para seu processo de revisão.
