O reconhecimento como núcleo de fundamentação da normatividade: reflexões sobre a crítica de honneth à ética do discurso habermasiana

Abstract

This article carries out an analysis and evaluation of the ethics of recognition proposed by Axel Honneth. In particular, it explores the connection with a critique that the author carries out towards the abstract character of the ethics of Habermasian discourse. In this way and in the light of the theoretical place where Honneth is situated throughout this critique, the theoretical gains are presented, but also some central difficulties that his moral philosophy owns when it intends to place recognition as the grounding core of the normativity.
