Abstract

The conception of sociogeny developed by Fanon offers a comprehensive view of the racialized subject, highlighting how colonization influences individual identity. Under the colonial matrix of power, the ideal of a human being is defined as male, white, European. The idea of not belonging to the “man” group generates anguish in a racialized society, subject to constant pressure to whiten. Furthermore, we bring the Sartrean vision in order to point out some considerations to the existentialist point of view of the oppressive violence of the colonists towards the colonized, the racist conception behind this cruel and violent structuring, as well as the proposal for a revolution on the part of the black people, using as a bibliographical basis the work The Damned of the Earth (1961) and Black Skin, White Masks (1983) as well as commentators at both points of the article. Therefore, we achieved it through two great thinkers who were particularly different, but at the same time with common objectives and themes, namely, the Algerian people, inequalities - colonial and colonized, and the attempt to break with the precarious and inhumane system of those who fought to preserve their own dignity as black subjects and with their own culture, to be given the chance to make their anti-colonial demands met.
