Frantz Fanon and racism in the face of the other

Abstract

The recognition of racism as a structural problem in a society has been the subject of important research to overcome it. In this text, I propose to reflect
on the racism described in the work of Frantz Fanon and the condition of black people in the work Black Skins, White Masks, reflecting on how the fact
of being taken as the other has throughout history delegated to black people an inferior place, a direct effect of the process of colonization, which, from
his point of view, must be eliminated with a view to the freedom of the human race. Thinking about racism and its implications in the work of Frantz
Fanon means thinking about a new humanism, where his work revolutionizes and points out the limits of a society that, by knowing itself to be racist, perpetuates the condition of colonization and prevents itself from achieving a
freedom accessible to all.
