La perception des èmotions comme perception de l'affect

Podemos perceber as emoções no rosto de outra pessoa? De acordo com alguns filósofos, a resposta a esta pergunta é positiva: ao ver a expressão facial de felicidade de uma pessoa, eu vejo sua felicidade por este meio. O objetivo deste trabalho é argumentar que este não é o caso: quando vemos a expressão facial de outra pessoa, não percebemos a emoção correspondente,mas sim o aspecto afetivo da emoção. Além disso, sugiro que a percepção deste aspecto afetivo emerge de um loop peculiar de percepção-ação que é ativado automaticamente quando um observador encontra um rosto expressando uma emoção.
