Mujeres puertorriqueñas en lucha: de movimientos sociales a la resistencia neoliberal

Resumen

Este artículo ofrece una lectura feminista de la historia anticolonial de Puerto Rico, destacando el papel central de las mujeres puertorriqueñas en la lucha por la independencia y contra la opresión neoliberal. A través de un enfoque temático y decolonial, el articulo recupera las voces y experiencias de mujeres activistas desde la colonización española hasta las movilizaciones masivas del siglo XXI. El texto revela cómo el colonialismo ha sido un proyecto profundamente patriarcal, y cómo las mujeres—desde Lolita Lebrón hasta las militantes de la FALN y las líderes feministas contemporáneas—han desafiado simultáneamente el imperialismo, el capitalismo y el sexismo. Enfatiza la intersección entre el nacionalismo y la justicia de género y la autonomía popular, proponiendo una descolonización transformadora que desmantele todas las formas de dominación. A través de este enfoque, se reescribe la historia desde una perspectiva crítica, antirracista y antipatriarcal.
