O IMPACTO DA EXPANSÃO URBANA SOBRE UM SISTEMA GEOMORFOLÓGICO LITORÂNEO: O CASO DO MACEIÓ NOSSA SENHORA APARECIDA, BAIRRO DO JANGA - PAULISTA – PE
Abstract
O presente trabalho tem por objetivo promover uma análise das transformações ambientais sofridas pela micro-bacia litorânea do maceió Nossa Senhora Aparecida (Paulista - PE) por meio de uma proposta de verificação do uso do solo e das modificações antrópicas super-impostas à bacia que tiveram repercussão sobre o seu suporte geomorfológico. A micro-bacia ao longo do seu eixo maior estende-se por 2,5 km de comprimento, banhando uma área de aproximadamente 5 km2. O procedimento metodológico adotado para a criação de uma tipologia de segmentos fluviais homogêneos, face aos processos superficiais observados, foi a visitação in loco que possibilitou transpor os dados de campo para a base cartográfica. A análise das intervenções antrópicas sobre o sistema geomorfológico do maceió permitiu a sua divisão em 07 (sete) trechos homogêneos. Este procedimento ensejou a identificação de como os processos de artificialização da bacia, resultantes da ocupação urbana, agiram sobre o arcabouço geomorfológico. As transformações espaciais refletiram-se na dinâmica física da micro-bacia, o que corrobora o impacto da metropolização sobre os sistemas fluviais costeiros de pequena dimensão espacial, como o maceiós, que tendem a perder suas funções de fixação do manguezal e de canal de refluxo para as marés.
