POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS E SUSTENTABILIDADE CULTURAL: UMA PERSPECTIVA GEOGRÁFICA NO MOVIMENTO BREGUEIRO EM BELÉM DO PARÁ
Abstract
O presente artigo analisa a Territorialidade do Movimento Bregueiro em Belém do Pará, discutindo a sustentabilidade cultural enquanto elemento fundamental para pensar ações de política pública engajadas no pleno desenvolvimento social local. As hipóteses defendidas neste trabalho sinalizam que o Estado (em suas esferas de poder municipal e estadual) não contempla o Movimento Bregueiro como estratégia relevante de planejamento de desenvolvimento em que a (re)produção do Movimento seja valorizada, restando aos sujeitos envolvidos neste circuito uma condição socioeconomica clandestina, mesmo estes ativando uma economia milionária intrínseca ao Movimento. Assim, identificar quais as implicações socioespaciais (política, econômica e cultural) evidenciadas pelo Movimento Bregueiro em Belém, observando quais são seus reflexos e se estes são relevantes para planejar a criação de (e se há) políticas públicas com base na sustentabilidade cultural é o principal objetivo deste trabalho.
