EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL CRÍTICA E PRINCIPIOS FORMATIVOS PARA A CONSTRUÇÃO DA CIDADANIA
Abstract
Este artigo constitui um relato de experiência, situado, resultado de um conjunto de atividades, tendo como referência uma prática educacional em Educação Ambiental Crítica (EAC), realizada por alunos do curso licenciatura em Geografia da UFPE, como parte da disciplina Vivência Escolar, cuja proposta foi conjugar a ação, teoria e prática com o objetivo de exercitar a prática pedagógica numa escola de ensino básico. Tomando como direcionamento a EAC, aqui entendida como uma metodologia de análise que consoante Mendonça (2012) parte de uma prática sequencial e de apreensão do real por meio da percepção e da atitude de investigação crítico-reflexiva. Escolhemos como temática a Educação Ambiental Crítica, pois se trata de uma questão fundamental a ser trabalhada no desenvolvimento de crianças e adolescentes mais preocupados com aspectos ecológicos como o lixo nas cidades, poluição do ar, a questão da água, resíduos sólidos, entre outros. Os resultados de nossa prática educacional apontaram uma mudança significativa na forma de conceber e pensar a educação ambiental pelos sujeitos imersos na experiência. A estratégia de sensibilização, utilizando a metodologia escolhida (documentário, o trabalho de campo e os debates em sala de aula), auxiliou os alunos em suas reflexões sobre as questões ambiental, social, econômica e política.Downloads
