CARACTERIZAÇÃO E ESPACIALIZAÇÃO DA PRECIPITAÇÃO EM BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA COM RELEVO COMPLEXO: SERTÃO CENTRAL PERNAMBUCANO – BACIA DO RIACHO DO SACO
Abstract
Este artigo apresenta a caracterização climática da bacia do Riacho do Saco, no Sertão de Pernambuco, relacionando a influência direta da topografia no comportamento da precipitação na área. Para isto foram coletados dados de precipitação de quatro PCDs, localizadas em diferentes altitudes, a fim de compará-las. Utilizando dados dos anos hidrológicos entre 2006-2012, período em que há dados disponíveis para as quatro estações foram analisados através de estatística descritiva os seguintes índices: total anual de chuvas, dias com chuva, dias com chuva efetiva, dias consecutivos sem chuva e dias consecutivos sem chuva efetiva. Verificou-se de fato a relação da precipitação com o relevo, constatando os maiores índices pluviométricos nas áreas de maior elevação e conseqüentemente os menores índices próximos à depressão sertaneja. Porém a relação altitude-precipitação não responde linearmente, devido à topografia irregular presente na bacia, além da atuação de diferentes mecanismos formadores de chuva. Por fim, devido a não linearidade dos resultados para cada altitude o estudo mostrou a necessidade da verticalização dos estudos climáticos em pequenas bacias com topografia irregular.Downloads
