This article is an excerpt from the results of the research on Geographical Learning and Digital Networks in Basic Education carried out in the last four years with the support of CNPQ. The term Education 4.0 has, as one of its premises, the use of technologies as innovative pedagogical tools that transform educational practices to facilitate and diversify the teaching-learning process, serving all students and their differences. We chose as the main problem: How have Geography teachers from reference state schools, located in the state of Pernambuco, appropriated digital technologies in their pedagogical work in the context of Education 4.0?, which leads us to our general objective to understand the change operated in the teaching work of Geography teachers in basic education, in terms of their representations regarding the integration of digital technologies in the teaching of Geography, their attitudes towards this new mode of pedagogical mediation, pedagogical practices in spaces of digital creation. The methodological course took place from a qualitative approach through the theoretical deepening of the investigation categories and conducting interviews, taking into account the objectives and purposes of the study. Spaces for digital creation have been incorporated into the school and required the geography teacher to master a set of knowledge that transcends and articulates with geographic knowledge and that is already present on the classroom floor, thus being able to be incorporated in their pedagogical practice.
