ESTUDO DA VARIABILIDADE DA PRECIPITAÇÃO NO ESTADO DE PERNAMBUCO
Abstract
Utilizou-se da analise harmônica, como um método objetivo para identificar a sazonalidade das chuvas, aplicando as normais de precipitação mensal no período de 1960-90 para aproximadamente 39 estações no Estado de Pernambuco – Br. As análises apresentaram distribuição da precipitação anual como a soma de seis diferentes curvas de senos (harmônicas). São apresentados mapas da contribuição à variância e o ângulo de fase dos três primeiros harmônicos, pois denotam os principais fatores físicos responsáveis pelos padrões, pois quantificam a maior parte da variância na distribuição da precipitação original desta área. A primeira harmônica geralmente contribuiu 70-90% da variância total. Os ângulos de fase aumentaram em direção ao Leste do Estado, de acordo com o período de maior atuação dos sistemas em cada área. A segunda harmônica detectou as áreas sob influência da topografia e o terceiro harmônico não apresentou claramente quais fatores o identificam.
