A estética política do protesto: comunidades reassentadas em Tete, Moçambique

Resumen

Este artigo debruça-se sobre a relação entre a presença da indústria extrativa em Moçambique e a natureza do espaço político. Ele interroga-se sobre os processos políticos que essa presença desencadeia no contexto local. Esses processos consistem em reivindicações. O propósito analítico é de mostrar até que ponto essas reivindicações políticas produzem uma forma política específica. Damos a esta forma política o nome de “estética política” para destacarmos a importância que a forma de articulação política pode ter no conteúdo que dá substância ao espaço político. A pesquisa na base do artigo adoptou uma abordagem etnográfica e narrativa com o propósito de ancorar a análise no mundo social dos entrevistados e sua maneira de interpelar a sua própria vida.

Elísio Macamo, Universidade de Basileia

Elísio Macamo é Professor Catedrático de sociologia e estudos africanos na Universidade de Basileia, na Suíça. Formou-se em Moçambique, Inglaterra e na Alemanha, onde se doutorou e fez a sua agregação em sociologia geral e sociologia do desenvolvimento. Foi bolsista pós-doutoral da FCT,  fellow do Instituto de Estudos Avançados de Berlim e do Instituto de Estudos Avançados de Stellenbosch, membro do comité científico do CODESRIA (Conselho para o Desenvolvimento da Pesquisa em Ciências Sociais em África), membro fundador da Escola Doutoral de Estudos Africanos da Universidade de Bayreuth (Alemanha), director do Centro de Estudos Africanos de Basileia (20011-2019), é membro do Conselho do International African Institute (Londres), co-editor da African Sociological Review, membro do conselho científico das revistas DADOS, Africa Spectrum, Stichproben, Revista Sociológica Angolana, etc. Dirige actualmente o programa de doutoramento do Centro de Estudos Africanos na Universidade de Basileia e tem uma publicação no prelo (Sovereign Reason: Issues in the methodology of the social sciences. African Minds: Cape Town).

Cremildo de Abreu Coutinho, Universidade de Púnguè

Possui Mestrado em Ciencias Politicas e Estudos Africanos pela Universidade Pedagógica - Moçambique (2016) e Licenciatura em Antropologia pela Universidade Eduardo Mondlane -Moçambique (2011) . Atualmente é Assistente Estagiario na Universidade Pedagogica-Delegacao de Tete. Tem experiência na área de Antropologia e Ciência Política.
