Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The article is original and unpublished, not being evaluated for publication by anohter journal;
- The file is in MS-Word (*.doc) format and doesn't exceed 2Mb in size;
- The text follows the Guidelines for authors;
- Author identification has been removed from the file and its Properties in Word, ensuring the RAFDR's confidentiality criteria, if submitted for peer review (eg, articles), as instructed in Ensuring blind peer review
- No plagiarism.
- All URL are active;
- all authors' metadata are filled out
National Doctrine
Articles writted in portuguese. This section inclues not only brazilian submissions, but also all submission from countries whose first language is portuguese.Foreign articles
Submissions in spanish, english, french or german. The use of peer review is subject of the Editors board decision.Translations
Translations of foreign papers into portuguese (Brasil). This translations must have authorisations from the Copywrite owners (if applicable).Review
Book/work Reviews are only accepted if approved by the Editorial Board and selected by double peer review process. This ensures that only quality reviews are approved.Copyright Notice
Authors who publish with the Academic Journal of Recife Law School ("RAFDR") agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the RAFDR right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) after the publication of the article in the RAFDR, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
