O presente artigo é a tradução de What Should Comparative Constitutional History Compare?, de autoria do professor Dr. Justin Collings (J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University - Utah, EUA), publicado originalmente na Illinois Law Review, no ano de 2017. Nesse artigo, o professor traduzido desenvolve a ideia de que a comparação histórica não é, em si mesma, um método, mas uma perspectiva metodológica, mais relacionada à temática da pesquisa e sua problematização que a um processo metodológico propriamente dito. Também explana três formas em que a pesquisa em história constitucional comparada pode ser realizada, quais sejam: histórias perspectivistas, histórias temáticas e histórias relacionais.Downloads
