Interdisciplinary interaction between law and art is part of an increasingly popular trend in the contemporary legal world. It is in this promising context that this study is inserted, dealing with TV shows produced by/for traditional TV or even by/for streaming platforms. Although legal TV shows sometimes lead to mistaken views about the reality of the judicial system in a given country – after all, they are, essentially, works of fiction –, if seen with a minimum of critical sense, they are largely instructive for legal professionals.
