Peer Review Policy
Cartema Journal maintains a continuous flow of articles, visual essays, and annotated art exhibitions, in addition to specific calls for thematic dossiers. All works submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers have their identities preserved throughout the evaluation.
Each submission is evaluated by two ad hoc reviewers who are experts in the field of the work. In case of disagreement between the reviewers' opinions, the work is forwarded to a third reviewer for a final decision. This procedure aims to ensure the impartiality and quality of Cartema journal publications.
