Abstract

Neste trabalho, temos por objetivo propor uma reflexão teórico-metodológica sobre a referenciação em tipos ou seqüências textuais descritivas que entram na constituição de gêneros textuais diversos. Os resultados apontam para a importância do modo de constituição de expressões nominais referenciais em gêneros textuais marcados por seqüências descritivas, tendo em vista a função de orientação argumentativa ao retratar o objeto descrito de uma determinada maneira dentre tantas outras possibilidades.

A Profa. Dra. Sueli Cristina Marquesi, avaliadora institucional do INEP/MEC e ex-Vice-Reitora da PUC/SP é a reitora da Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul. Doutora em Lingüística Aplicada pela PUC-SP e Professora Titular de Língua Portuguesa.
