Abordagem Discursivo-Crítica
Abstract
A proposta deste ensaio é a defesa da investigação crítica do significado social dos referidos fenômenos sociolingüísticos em relação aos contextos sociopolítico e cultural em que estão inseridos. Para tanto, é preciso ocorrer transferência do enfoque quantitativo para o discursivo crítico, o que permitirá o diálogo da Sociolingüística com as modernas teorias sociais. Esta reconfiguração nos métodos de análise irá inserir a Sociolingüística numa agenda de pesquisa multidisciplinar para tratar de questões como identidades sociais, relações sociais assimétricas, conflitos socioculturais e preconceitos lingüísticos e sociais.
