Competência metafórica e a Linguística Cultural: Exemplo de conceptualização das emoções em Chinês e na cultura ocidental
Abstract
Resumo: O presente texto foca a noção de competência metafórica (Aleshtar and Dowlatabadi, 2014: 1895; cf. Shirazi and Talebinezhad, 2013: 135). No processo de aquisição/ aprendizagem da linguagem, o falante deve desenvolver competência metafórica, a fim de poder comunicar numa língua nova de modo fluente e apropriado conceptualmente. O estudo centra-se na conceptualização das emoções (a tristeza profunda, a raiva ou o sentimento de lealdade), contrastando a língua e a cultura chinesas e a cultura ocidental, utilizando a análise da corporização (embodiement) não só fisiológica como também cultural (cf. Sinha e López, 2004; Sharifian, 2015, Yu, 2007; Pires, 2015).
