Autonomia da arte e liberdade: considerações sobre o tema da Bildung (formação) em Teoria da Vanguarda

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é reavaliar a tese de Peter Bürger de que o sistema social da arteburguesa desenvolve‐se simultaneamente a um processo de cisão histórica entre arte evida. Pretende‐se mostrar que o conceito de autonomia analisado por Bürger ignora otema da Bildung (formação), central para a filosofia alemã da passagem do século XVIIIe XIX. Com esse intuito, analisa‐se a importância da autonomia para a funçãoemancipadora da arte no pensamento de Schiller. Ao fim, elabora‐se uma reflexãometodológica sobre Teoria da Vanguarda, apontando a incongruência teórica entre ascategorias de “ideologia” e de “autonomia”.
