Uma defesa do cânone literário por dois apocalípticos
Abstract
A partir do debate cultural recente em que a ideia de cânone literário é questionada ou se propõe uma abertura ou total relativização do cânone, o objetivo desse artigo é analisar como se apresenta a ideia de cânone literário e como ele é formado na perspectiva de Frank Kermode e Harold Bloom. Bem como a defesa que esses dois pensadores fazem das grandes obras literárias a partir de termos apocalípticos, como o fim da literatura ou dos estudos humanísticos na universidade.
