Literatura de viagem e projetos utópicos feministas: Flora Tristan e o Peru
Abstract
Desde Utopia, de Tomás Morus, a literatura de viagens tem sido usada por diversos autores para a crítica social. Além de estratégia discursiva, a própria experiência da viagem ao “Novo Mundo” serviu de estímulo para o surgimento de novas sensibilidades sociais. Flora Tristan, socialista e feminista, é um caso. Sua viagem ao Peru, em 1833 e 34, é considerada por vários comentadores como um momento a partir do qual seu ativismo político ganhou força e direção. Neste artigo lemos seu primeiro livro Peregrinações de uma pária, para tentar compreender como essa viagem forneceu elementos para sua obra.References
