Abstract

The article presents some reflections on one of the graphic styles found in Chapada Diamantina, especially, but not only, in the municipality of Morro do Chapéu: Tradição Nordeste. Fieldwork allows us to clearly identify aspects that are not limited to identifying the lines and figures, but also the objective of the visual impact and the effect they could have on the observer, with the organization of the elements that make up the scenes.
