Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

FORM AND PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

TEMPLATE

The articles must be concise and have at maximum 10 to 20 pages, including text, tables, charts and references. On the first page of the text, the title, abstract and keywords, should be included in Portuguese. The second page must include the title, keywords and the abstract in English. The text must have an abstract both in Portuguese and English not exceeding 200 words in length. The following pages should contain the main text and the bibliographical references. Charts, tables, drawings, maps and photographs with their explicative legends must be enclosed and should be included in their respective places below

The text should be typed in the A4 (297 x 210mm) format, using the Word 6.0 text editor or any docx. file compatible version, Times New Roman and should have font size 12, 1,5 for line spacing, leaving 3,0cm in both lateral margins, 2,5cm in top and 2,5cm bottom margins.

The pages must be numbered in the bottom right margin, numbering starts at the first page of the manuscript.

References must be listed in alphabetical order by the surname of the first author, according to the ABNT rules (NRB-6023, August of 2002). Abbreviation of journal titles must be according to the World List of Scientific Periodicals.

It should not include the name of the authors on the manuscript as a result of our double blind evaluation process. In the process of submission then should be included on the form the full name, professional resume, address and email of the main author.

PLAGIARISM ANALYSIS 

The texts sent to the evaluation process will be technically revised in a plagiarism analysis on the Plagium. platform. The editorial team will check the data. In case of plagiarism, just a paragraph without the correct quotation will be needed to the text to be returned with an explicative paragraph pointing out the problem. In case of self-plagiarism, there is a cap of 10% the text or 50% in case of being a result of a masters or a doctors degree final paper.
