From BIM to CIM: the diffusion of innovation of ideas for civil construction

The BIM and CIM technologies represented a break in the paradigm of design and graphic representation process, impacting the academy and the construction market. In this sense, this article discusses the dissemination of ideas for the application of BIM and CIM and how the dissemination of BIM is being applied in public policies. New professionals in the field of engineering, architecture and civil construction have been responding to new technological demands in a job market in accelerated transition. Given this scenario, this paper reviews the international literature related to the diffusion of technologies as well as investigating their insertion. The relevance of the work lies in a systematic analysis of how the diffusion of new technologies applied in the professional field interferes with the contents worked in the classroom, innovating academic practices, which, consequently, subsequently contributes to the improvement of the dynamics of the labour market.References
