The use of artificial intelligence tools to aid the conception process of interior design projects

This article analyzes the contribution of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to interior design, evaluating the effectiveness of these technologies in creating creative, functional and aesthetic suggestions for projects. The study compared several AI platforms available on the market, highlighting how they can assist in the creative process, improving the quality and innovation of proposed solutions. Platforms such as Bing Image Creator, Imagine Art, Craiyon, among others, were tested, using specific prompts based on previously chosen images. The results showed that platforms with more developed algorithms, such as Bing Image Creator and Imagine Art, generated high-quality images with a high degree of creativity, while less mature platforms, such as Craiyon, produced low-quality images with limited creative solutions. The analysis considered criteria such as image quality, adherence to the prompt, creativity and cost-benefit, concluding that the maturity of the algorithms was decisive for the effectiveness of the tools, making the most advanced ones economically advantageous in the long term, due to their precision and speed in generating of usable proposals.
