Artificial Intelligence in higher education institutionsand management students' perception of employability

Objective:To understand the perceptions of Business Administration students in Pernambuco regarding the presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education and their views on employability.
Method/Approach: This is an exploratory study with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a survey and statistically analyzed to identify perception patterns and potential implications of AI in students' academic and professional development.
Theoretical/Practical/Social Contribution: Findings indicate that students recognize AI's potential to enhance learning processes and skill development, while also expressing concerns about the impact of automation on employability. The research highlights the importance of integrating AI critically and reflectively into higher education curricula to better prepare students for a dynamic labor market.
Originality/Relevance: The study contributes to the ongoing discussion on how higher education in Business Administration is responding to digital transformation and the future of work, offering insights that support curricular adaptation and the development of digital competencies.
