Hermeneutic praxis as a form of ethical responsibility

In the context of Hans-Georg Gadamer's hermeneutical thought, the interpreter's activity is defined as hermeneutic praxis, since its model is the Aristotelian phronesis of Ethics Nicomachea. Presenting, upon description, that hermeneutic praxis incorporates from phronesis the elements of the application of the universal to the particular and ethical knowledge, from that it is possible to think about the issue of ethical responsibility.References
