Abstract

This work is part of the research that is being carried out in the Master's course in Science
and Humanities Teaching at the Federal University of Amazonas, which has as its main
approach the focus on Rural Education and agrarian settlements, but has as analysis
categories public policies, peasantry and social movements, the last element being the
thematic approach used to compose this study. For the reflections presented here, a survey
of actions and programs aimed at this teaching modality is used, considering the social
actors involved in the claim and implementation of such policies. Throughout this work,
we also seek to discuss the existing relationship between the categories of analysis and
the influence they exert on field teaching. As for the methodology, it is based on research
with a qualitative approach, using Dialectical Historical Materialism as an analysis
method, also presenting a descriptive and explanatory character of the conditioning
factors of the historical and political process of the field of study.
