O Estado da Paraíba apresenta várias áreas diferenciadas de precipitação, tal peculiaridade necessita do monitoramento dos índices climáticos no intuito de fornecer informações sobre os períodos secos e chuvosos da microrregião do Litoral Norte da Paraíba. A metodologia utilizada para avaliar os períodos secos e chuvosos foi o IAC. Evidenciou-se que os meses mais chuvosos são os meses de março a julho e os meses mais secos, de agosto a maio. Observou-se também que os períodos chuvosos e secos ocorreram na mesma quantidade e que suas intensidades variam de acordo com os anos extremos.

Temporal Evaluation of Climatology Northern Coast of Paraíba
ABSTRACT
The state of Paraiba has several different areas of precipitation, such peculiarity requires monitoring of climate indices in order to provide information on the dry and rainy periods in the microregion of the North Coast of Paraíba. The methodology used to evaluate the dry and rainy periods was the RAY. It was evident that the rainiest months are the months from March to July and the driest months, from August to May. It was also observed that the wet and dry periods occur in the same amount and that their intensities vary according to the extreme years.
