Estudos existentes apontam que a substituição da cobertura vegetal natural em uma determinada bacia hidrográfica costuma provocar alteração nas características hidrológicas da mesma. O presente estudo procura verificar se ocorrem tais mudanças na precipitação e descarga anuais de uma sub-bacia no estado do Pará. São verificadas ainda se ocorreram mudanças nos picos de precipitação e descarga, ou seja, nos padrões dos trimestres chuvoso e de estiagem e de cheia e de seca, para uma sub-bacia no estado do Pará. É apresentada, então, uma análise da série histórica de dados hidrológicos da área para dois períodos distintos, na qual as hipóteses levantadas acima são checadas por meio de testes estatísticos.Downloads
