Evolução do Uso do Solo no Arquipélago Mutum-Porto Rico, Alto Rio Paraná, no período de 2000 – 2010.

Desde a década de 1950 o processo de uso e ocupação do solo no arquipélago Mutum-Porto Rico, localizado no alto Rio Paraná, divisa entre os Estados do Paraná e Mato Grosso do Sul, promoveu diversas mudanças no quadro ambiental do arquipélago, principalmente em relação à vegetação. Para entendimento desse processo utilizou-se como base o mapeamento do uso do solo proposto por Correa (1988), que teve como recorte temporal o período de 1952 a 1996. Para obtenção de um quadro atual, este estudo propõe o mapeamento dos anos de 2000, 2005 e 2010, através da análise temporal da paisagem apoiado em imagens de satélite Landsat 5 TM, aplicadas a técnicas de sensoriamento remoto digital e geoprocessamento. A partir dos resultados obtidos é possível observar que o arquipélago tem sido modificado por eventos distintos das décadas anteriores, havendo atualmente um processo de recuperação da vegetação das ilhas.Downloads
