Abstract
Este estudo examina a maneira como o Partido Liberal de Pernambuco enfrentou a questão abolicionista durante a última década do Império. Demonstra que os liberais eram mais sensíveis às suas próprias necessidades políticas do que aos interesses das classes fundiárias da província.Downloads
