Analysis on the contribution from paid interns in the nursing workforce

Resumo

Objective: analyze the contribution of scholarship holders of average level of nursing in the force of work in a Hospital of Education in Natal/RN. Methodology: One is about a quantitative-qualitative inquiry, with use of descriptive statistics and analysis carried through from the categories that had emerged of the research through a dialogue with the authors studied in the theoretical referencial of the world of the current work, force of work, remunerated not-obligator period of training and nocturnal work in turns and. Results: They had consisted, as collaborating of this research, 105 (73.43%) technician of nursing, scholarship holders of average level who carry through period of training remunerated in the hospital. It had predominance of the feminine sex with 90 (85.70%), with average of age of 29,71 years, 62 (59.00%) single ones, 57 (54.30%) had not related to have children, 100 (95.23%) scholarship holders with complete average level, (78.10%) had had professional experience before its insertion in the remunerated period of training, 73 (69.50%) had related to like the area, reason of the choice it course nursing technician. On the conclusion of the course technician, 83 (79.00%) had related to have finished between 2005 and 2008, and on the time of period of training in the institution, 38 (36.20%) have between one and six months. How much to the learning, 74 (70.50%) had related to learn with the nursing technician and all carry through courses of specialization or perfectioning to have the bond with the school and power to serve as apprentice. These courses had been had as of low quality, what it justifies the 54 (51.40%) scholarship holders who had said that the income in the studies is good and 75 (71.40%) obtain to conciliate with the period of training without problems. How much to the remuneration in stock market form, 71 (67.60%) had related that it helped in the continuity of the studies, therefore this value has mainly this intention to defray the studies. On the not-obligator period of training, the ABEn-RN related that a relation of accompaniment of this modality of period of training does not exist, rank that never had this concern, a time that the obligator periods of training take very by the effort, in the meetings. E the COREN-RN does not to fiscalize this contract form. Conclusion: One evidenced in the present research that has the contribution of the force of work of scholarship holders of average level of nursing in the searched institution, beyond being submitted to the conditions of work established by the institution, representing the lack of human resources, materials, conditions of work, insertion in the work in turns and nocturnal that in this in case that, can be affirmed that it is irregular in the context of the scholarship holders, beyond determinative factor of risks for its lives and health. Moreover, so that the scholarship holders if keep in the quality of trainee in the institution, they are obliged to carry through courses of perfectioning or specialization of nursing technician, in cited schools as of bad quality.
