Pedagogical innovation in the training of Geography teachers is necessary and must be attentive to the issues of the educational scenario, if we want to re-signify the profession in universities and the teaching of Geography in basic education. In this way, the central objective of this work is to share an experience of training Geography teachers, from the Department of Geographic Sciences -DCG, of the Federal University of Pernambuco -UFPE, during the semester of 2021.2, built by two training teachers, from the area of Teaching Geography. The study in question is of a qualitative nature, since it addresses social relationships and meanings in a procedural perspective. The results obtained show that a training of Geography teachers, based on a greater synergy between the university and the school, can significantly contribute to the operative molds of teacher training and thus improve school teaching through Geography, making use of didactic actions in our innovative and contextualized perspective
