INFLUÊNCIA DO RELEVO NAS FORMAS DE OCUPAÇÃO E USO DA TERRA E O (DES)CUMPRIMENTO ÀS LEIS VIGENTES NA ÁREA CORRESPONDENTE À FOLHA ALHANDRA 1:25.000 – PARAÍBA E PENAMBUCO, NORDESTE DO BRASIL.
Abstract
Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida com a perspectiva de correlacionar as formas de ocupação e uso da terra com o relevo, averiguando a aplicabilidade das leis vigentes na área correspondente à Folha Alhandra 1:25.000, em que estão inseridas parcelas dos municípios de Alhandra, Pitimbu, Caaporã e Pedras de Fogo, na Paraíba, e de Itambé e Goiana em Pernambuco; localizada, predominantemente, nos Tabuleiros Litorâneos, compartimentos esculturados, em grande parte, sobre os sedimentos da Formação Barreiras. Para a realização deste trabalho, confeccionaram-se, utilizando o software SPRING 5.1.7, as cartas hipsométrica, clinográfica, de ocupação e uso do solo e a de ocupação e uso do solo irregular quanto à declividade. A partir das análises das cartas, verificou-se a predominância de áreas com até 12% de declividade, enquanto que a ocorrência de áreas >100% é mínima, ocorrendo nas cabeceiras de drenagem de alguns cursos de água. As altitudes variam de 2 a 137 m, evidenciando planícies alagáveis e tabuleiros. Constatou-se, também, que a monocultura da cana-de-açúcar é a forma de ocupação predominante, seguida de culturas temporárias/permanentes, envolvendo áreas impróprias para o desenvolvimento de tais atividades, segundo as leis vigentes.Downloads
