International geopolitics and the effects of pandemia: A new global order in trasition?

The purpose of this article is to discuss the effects of the current pandemic from reflections on international policy maladjustments, impacts on countries and the difficulties exposed in the pandemic for consequent responses from the international community and governments weakened by social and economic imbalance. Despite the awakening of the solidary society, the neglect of government officials pointed to the importance of science and public institutions in the fight against the virus. Estimates indicate future global concerns and political scars in contemporary history. What new global order post-disaster of pandemic will shape the world?This issue persists in the authors' analysis and ideas about a new global order in transition. Debates oscillate between the end of globalization and the realpolitik space in the US versus China competition. A new geopolitics of international cooperation would be based on humanist values and the expansion of multilateralism with the participation of emerging economies. Between analyzes and results, the public space and the challenges to reformulate global governance policy are reborn.
