Abstract

This article stems from aspects of the planning, execution, and development of the course Laboratory of Graphic Narratives: Comics and Animation, taught during the 2025.2 semester by Ma. Aylana Canto, professor and author of this text, in collaboration with students Serena Veloso, Lucas Correa, and Roberto Junior at the Faculty of Visual Arts of Federal University of Pará (FAV-UFPA). In addition to highlighting instances of teaching practice in the construction of didactics, built upon the theme of graphic narratives and sequential art, the text elucidates artistic processes and poetic constructions of student-artists in the Visual Arts Licentiate program at UFPA. As a result, thirty comic strips were produced in different languages, styles, chromatic and graphic choices, using digital and conventional techniques. The aim, as a theoretical-practical approach, is to demonstrate the potential inherent in the production of comic strips for the curriculum and training of students, artists, and teachers.
