Metáforas da Doença de Alzheimer: entre o metadiscurso científico e a vida cotidiana
Abstract
Neste artigo discutimos a emergência de metáforas no discurso de especialistas e leigos ao se referirem à Doença de Alzheimer (DA). Focalizamos particularmente os modos de agir intencional atribuídos à DA que, além de evocarem determinados frames, o fazem de modo a personificar a patologia como um invasor, um inimigo, etc. Além de reconhecermos a relevância dos desdobramentos da TMC (LAKOFF; JOHNSON, 1980/2002), como a relação entre metaforicidade e outros enquadres cognitivos, procuramos compreender melhor certos fenômenos sociocognitivos, como a conceptualização da DA. Os dados foram extraídos da pesquisa de mestrado de Siman (2015).Downloads
