A imagem feminina em 'Sex and the City': uma análise de transitividade da narração
Abstract
Este trabalho traz uma investigação sistêmico-funcional (Halliday 1994; Halliday; Matthiessen 2004), mais especificamente de transitividade, da imagem feminina no discurso da personagem-narradora do seriado estadunidense Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw. Com foco na metafunção ideacional, marcadamente seus significados experienciais, analiso as escolhas lexicogramaticais no texto como reveladoras de identidades de gênero. Resultados evidenciam a representação da mulher em um espaço de atuação mais amplo, contudo ainda restrito à esfera privada. Desta forma, demonstramos a utilidade da gramática sistêmico-funcional como instrumento analítico efetivo em investigações da língua em uso a fim de se estimular uma postura de leitura critica.References
