Discurso religioso, o corpo e o ciúme em Dom Casmurro
Abstract
O objetivo deste trabalho é verificar em que medida a representação do corpo construída pelo discurso narrativo em Dom Casmurro, de Machado de Assis, contribui para tornar justificável o ciúme do personagem masculino protagonista desta obra. A voz responsável pelas representações do corpo feitas nessa narrativa é afinada com o discurso religioso cristão. Para melhor entender essa afinidade, faremos um breve passeio pelos aspectos implicados nesse olhar (discurso) religioso sobre o corpo, bem como utilizaremos conceitos (Almeida, 2001) que expliquem o funcionamento desse tipo de discurso.References
