Riobaldo: entre líderes e mitos
Abstract
O presente texto tenta, sob o prisma psicanalítico e também recorrendo às idéias presentes na “Dialética do Esclarecimento” de Adorno, evidenciar como Riobaldo se mostra um personagem moderno, absolutamente individualizado diante da desubjetividade dos jagunços e, surpreendentemente, também dos lideres dos bandos. Acreditamos que, a fim de ascender como sujeito idiossincrático, ele precisará assumir, enquanto verdade, a “dúvida”, e desconstruir todas as certezas nascidas num Sertão ainda épico, dominado por figuras míticas inquestionáveis, isto é, os grandes líderes da jagunçagem.References
