Os pontos cegos da teoria de Wolfgang Iser
Abstract
O presente artigo trata de alguns aspectos da obra de Wolfgang Iser, teórico alemão de pouca visibilidade na crítica acadêmica brasileira. Os principais problemas metodológicos encontrados em Iser ainda não foram suficientemente documentados e analisados por especialistas e tradutores de sua obra. O artigo pretende contribuir para uma expansão do conhecimento crítico dos textos de Iser, questionando o lugar que o autor ocuparia na teoria literária contemporânea. Serão abordadas determinadas questões aporéticas que geram impasse na construção argumentativa das teses iserianas, sobretudo a partir do problema de uma consciência sem intencionalidade — postulado precário para a fenomenologia moderna.
