The academic debate surrounding studies on men and masculinities in light of feminist theories has gained increasing visibility within academia, particularly as a means of rethinking contemporary gender arrangements. In this context, we interviewed Professor Daniel Jones, PhD, from the University of Buenos Aires – UBA, given his experience in research on these themes, as well as his work at the Institute of Masculinities and Social Change, a feminist organization that develops initiatives with men in Argentina. Throughout the interview, the professor presented some possible approaches to working with men from a feminist perspective and highlighted the numerous challenges surrounding this field, especially in view of attempts at regression and the anti-gender agenda imposed by ultraconservative and right-wing governments.
