Technology is intertwined with the development of contemporary society, a movement that must necessarily be accompanied by education. Augmented Reality (AR) stands out for inserting virtual content directly into the physical space, offering a situated, immersive and innovative experience to the student. Despite this, ARis rarely used by teachers in didactic or complementary activities. In this context, this article aimed investigate in the literature how AR for education isintegrated into teacher training, and to identify the role of teacher training in the integration of Augmented Reality into the curriculum. Using the integrative literature review, five articles were selected and analyzed, showing that teachers feel insecure about changing the way they act when they are not pedagogically supported and do not have the knowledge or experience with the tool. In addition, it was possible toconclude that itisan under-researched field and that there is a very strong relationship between the application of ARin the educational environment and Active Methodologies.Downloads
