The Supervised Internship is an important moment in the training of a teacher, because it is at this stage that we have the opportunity to put into practice part of what we learn in theory throughout the undergraduate course, as it makes it possible to meet what is seen at the University with practice. teacher in the daily life of schools. The present work is the report of the conducting activities promoted in the discipline Supervised Internship IV, given in the 8th semester of the Geography course at the Regional University of Cariri / URCA. The regency was held in the discipline of Geography with classes in the 2nd year classes in the morning and afternoon shifts at the Governador Adauto Bezerra High School in Juazeiro do Norte / CE. The work aims to demonstrate how the internship helps to improve the conception of theory / practice, characterizing it as a construction process in which the undergraduate student tends to grow significantly as a future teacher. As methodological procedures during the regency, they were based on bibliographical surveys, the experiences acquired by the student, in addition to information about the school, employees and the daily life lived in the educational institution. During classes it was possible to improve teaching methodologies, use didactic resources, advance communication with students, measure the knowledge acquired at the university and the reasoning ability. In the analysis of the classes, it was evidenced that the licensee needs to have the ownership of the geographic contents forthe teaching to happen in a contextualized and incremental way, contributing for the students' learning to be in a thinking, reflective and critical way
