This article's investigative proposal is the need to reflect on pedagogical elements adopted in the classroom and with this aim it aims to investigate the practices, procedures and strategies adopted by Geography teachers in Elementary School Final Years based on the analysis of Geography teaching plans School. To this end, a bibliographic survey on the approach to Geography from BNCC/Brazil and the practices, procedures and strategies of the selected teachers became essential. In the methodology, an exploratory research was used with a qualitative approach that focused on collecting data from the teaching plans used by Final Year Elementary School teachers, considering five different teachers from different institutions in the municipalities of Paraíba. The research results were considered with the support of the official document proposed by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and it was found that teachers demonstrate using the Base's guidelines in their pedagogical practices. However, some weaknesses were also observed based on the practices exposed in the teaching plans. Given this, the present study presents itself as a possibility for teachers, students or society as interested people to consider the possibility of understanding some of the practices, procedures and pedagogical strategies used in teaching Geography within the school context.
